- Date transaction was processed
- Amount of transaction
- Reason for refund
- Relation to subject insured
- Any relevant supporting documents
The refund process will take 15 to 30 working days and refund credit will be reflected in client’s next credit card statement.
Refunds for all products are subject to the specific terms and conditions of your takaful certificate.
How to Cancel your Motor Takaful Cover and get a refund:
The vehicle owner must make sure that takaful cover is valid as long as the motor registration is valid. To cancel the cover, all documentation must be presented, including but not limited to proof of cancelled registration, presentation of alternative tafakul cover, and traffic department’s transfer of ownership documents. The contribution may be refunded after deducting applicable fees and current contribution charges due.
The refund cannot be made in any other form of payment (i.e. cash or cheque.) All refunds for online purchases will be processed within 15 to 30 working days and the refund will be paid to the Participant’s credit card.
How to cancel your Travel Takaful Cover at any time and get a refund:
After paying the contribution, the travel takaful certificate cannot be cancelled under normal circumstances. Only on an exceptional and valid basis, can a Participant qualify for a refund at one of our customer service locations. The Participant will provide the original certificate, passport, and other supporting documents as noted in the “terms and conditions” of the policy.
Refunds for online participation, if any, will be processed within 15 to 30 working days and the refund will be paid to the Participant’s credit card. The refund cannot be made in any other form of payment (i.e. cash or cheque.)
